I mean, it is Holy Week.Bring him to Gerry. If he places his hands on the injured area and Russell is a true believer, it just might work.

He won’t be able to play hoops either next year so going from two sport guy to rehab/student will definitely have long term benefits for himI am sorry Calvin got hurt but like others are saying, we have a lot of big WRa on the roster who have more experience and maturity.
I was thinking Calvin might be our fourth leading WR in 2026. He played at a high level HS but the adjustment to college ball is still big. This will give Calvin more time for his studies and adjustment to college life, which is key for a two sport athlete. He will have another year to get stronger, watch film and learn the play book.
When the 2027 season comes, he should be much better positioned to have a big season. This is a tough break but it just might be the best thing that could happen to him. And it just might make Steve and Calvin closer. Sharing the same injury and recovery could make them very tight.
Best wishes for a fast and complete recovery to him.
Yup. My next question is, how much money will he want next year? Will he ask for the same he is getting this year? Are our donors willing to sink more money into the potential with no ROI to show for it so far? My fear is that another team may be willing to spend more because of this. Just not ideal any way you look at itNot much you can do about that. There's no spring portal to even leverage this year so it's a sunk cost. Gotta hope he recovers full speed now.

Why would another team want to pay him more coming off a major injury with zero proven ability at the D1 level? If anything, this hurts leverage.Yup. Roster says Cole is 6’-3”. It does seems odd that he is listed at the same height as Hatcher. But Cole is also listed at 220 lbs. He’s just a lot more physical and plays taller I think.LpoolNative how tall is Cole? Seen 6'5 or 6'3... not the biggest issue either way, just curious the discrepancy.
This is all assuming Fran is still here...Why would another team want to pay him more coming off a major injury with zero proven ability at the D1 level? If anything, this hurts leverage.
I think the risk is how he does mentally after a major issue like this but I wouldn't worry about the money piece. The best place for him to rehab with us and we'll have the best insight into how it's going.
If we are good enough that even after last season someone bigger wants Fran, we can deal with it.This is all assuming Fran is still here...
Oh, im not talking about it going that directionIf we are good enough that even after last season someone bigger wants Fran, we can deal with it.
Ok, fairOh, im not talking about it going that direction
maybe it was those gosh darn Covid vaccines!GD turf and, probably cipro type antiobiotics history. Someone needs to do a study on this happening to so many young kids. So unusual vs the old days, literally never knew or even heard of one of these. GDit
I dont mean more than what we are currently paying him. I mean more than what we may offer next year. Will we still pay him the same NIL as this year? If not, a program with better resources may want to pay more than we are willing toWhy would another team want to pay him more coming off a major injury with zero proven ability at the D1 level? im messing with you btw, those broad spectrum antibiotics do have some troubling side effects
As I understand it he’s here for at least a couple of years. As long as Fran is still here.Yup. My next question is, how much money will he want next year? goes to show that maybe lifting helps and hurts in some of these casesGD turf and, probably cipro type antiobiotics history. Someone needs to do a study on this happening to so many young kids. So unusual vs the old days, literally never knew or even heard of one of these, now we have not one, but two in less than a year, to, of course, our best/Most important players. GDit
