One year waiver

How does that work? 1 year waiver to go to ND then return to the AF to fulfill his time owed? One year waiver

You knew Notre Dame would get involved in this at some point. I believe OSU fans were hoping for Yago, but perhaps Yago's game was too similar to Garrett Haas' game.
You wonder if bringing in Yago is stepping on junior Brock Behrman's toes a bit.
Don't think Pokorny was hurt. Just struggled against teams tougher than Detroit Mercy. He played on their man up for most of the season but struggled there too. 16% shooting on the year.I think they stepped on Behrams toes when they moved Devon McLane to attack last year.
ND brings in Teddy Lally who is the fifth ranked player in the IL recruiting rankings. Cam Kelly is a lefty and is ranked 21st overall. To top it off they have Colin Kenney who is ranked 51st overall.
They also have two rising sophomore midfielders who could move down to attack - Matt Jeffery is a lefty and Luke Miller is a natural attackman. ND has a bunch of midfielders, so they might be comfortable moving one or two to attack.
And of course Brady Pokorny is still there, he was on a tear during scrimmage season but must have gotten hurt?
Outside Yago it should be an interesting competition. I am going to guess Lally (hardly ever see a recruit ranked that highly not start) and either Pokorny or Jeffery man the lefty spot.
From Virginia and went to Landon.
Looks like IL is updating this in real time. They added Birtwistle to their top 25.
19. Jackson Birtwistle, A/M, Gr., Syracuse
"One of the better crease finishers over the last few seasons, Birtwistle has scored 56 goals in 43 games and played just five games this spring before his season was ended due to injury."
Also thought what they said about Colsey was interesting. They seem to imply that his brother will follow when his four years at UVA are done? Certainly sounds like he's keeping his options open and isn't automatically going to Chapel Hill. I might be reading too much into it.
5. Kyle Colsey, A, Fr., Virginia
"IL's No. 19-ranked player in the Class of 2024, Colsey missed the season due to an ACL injury, so he'll transfer with four years of eligibility remaining. It's effectively a second high school recruitment and could have further implications as his brother Ryan will graduate from Virginia next year with an additional year of eligibility."
How it usually works is 2 years of service for 1 year of grad schoolWoah, he's a rising senior so he owes the govt some money.
actually sounds like a dook guy to me, but we'll see what happens.I would still be surprised if he ended up anywhere but UNC but the fact that he didn't commit there right after hitting the portal may indicate that he's open to hearing from other schools. Still as you noted it could simply be us reading to much into it and he commits to UNC on Monday. I believe he went into the portal with a no contact tag if that's the case Syracuse would have to see if he reaches out or backchannel it. With the Spallina class all Seniors you'd have to think SU is going to try and go all in with some high end O guy.

The youngest scolded is a rising HS JR and far more dominant than his brothers have been to this point. Would love to see if his SU alum Dad allows interest in SU.Looks like IL is updating this in real time. They added Birtwistle to their top 25.

Bingo. May kid is on Brady’s summer league team in Fairfield County. Kid seems dedicated to ND..but not sure he has the top-10 recruit impact that was expected.Don't think Pokorny was hurt. Just struggled against teams tougher than Detroit Mercy. He played on their man up for most of the season but struggled there too. 16% shooting on the year.
There is dmid from army in portal not sure how much time he saw or anything but i’d assume he has to be somewhat athletic if was at army. Know he has good size nothing great think 6”0 n 185 n he’s only sophomore. Tommy bonnavita believe his name is. Maby possible potential build player to help.
i heard cuse showed some interest, but utah's chase robertson is headed to psu...
Any idea if they are after Lewis from Adelphi? Someone on FanLax says he's down to two Big 10 schools and an ACC.
If Colsey is not in play (sounds like he's down to Duke and UNC), I don't see a lot of offensive options in the portal at this point. In IL's Top 25 Transfer list, only Birtwistle and Rory Graham from Cornell are listed.
