2027 Recruiting

currie is not going to end up playing college lacrosse if you ask me
unfortunately, or fortunately depending on where he goes, I think you are correct, hes a guy that if he focuses on football and things go right could have a shot at the NFL and 1 season of even practice squad in the NFL is like 4 seasons of pro lax.

Leo, English, Rhoa, Anderson, Hiltz, Hottle, McCarthy... we have not been a team of slow canadians. The only Canadian box guy we have recruited in the last 2 classes is Rawson and he is a jitterbug. Our only relatively slow guys who play regularly in the offense are Thomson and Spallina, and I certainly hope people realize they make up for that in a zillion ways. We value speed/dodging just like everyone else, but just employ pick plays and other more indoor style stuff in addition to that to maximize their value. The staff is not just trying to land slow canadians. They are shooting for speedsters too just like everyone.

if thats about sullivan, he's plenty fast in fact its the other thing mentioned in his report alongside his scoring ability as his best attributes,

this is the report(mind you this is 1 persones opinon)

He’s quick and fast but, at this point, stands out a bit more as a two-handed shooter/goal-scorer as opposed to as a dodger/party-starter.

Developing that element of his game — drawing slides more consistently — looks like the next layer to uncover. But give his athleticism and two-handedness, there’s little question that he will.

I think most posters are being facetious. SU has a couple of good dodgers on the team and any team trying to win a title has to have speed and dodging ability so we clearly recruit for it as well. SU under Gait is known more for its elite level passing and has had some issues dodging especially at attack so I assume that's what most are referring to in a joking matter.

Morsell could be a guy we get, I just haven't really thought much about him because I cant collect my normal social media stuff cuz his insta is private
Morsell is apparently the son of former Terp Mike Morsell. Maryland could use a top lefty attackman in this class. UVa tends to recruit well from Haverford, and Tiffany could use a top lefty attackman to go with all his righties. Penn State also recruits Haverford well. Then there is the Ivy league, if Morsell is into top academics.

Is this post in reference to someone in particular? Lots to sort through on this thread right now!

Idk his tape doesn't impress me.

Disagree here. Not a lot dodging, but he shows off some excellent passing. Multiple highlights of him skipping the ball down to the far post through multiple defenders. Good shooting from in close and from distance as well. Plus good size at 6'2 and he looks very solidly built. Easy to see him doing well at the college level. Not sure if he's the third guy or not, but wouldn't be upset if he was.

Sooo, sullivan (yay), a 3 star fogo (yawn) and hopefully a 5 star. Or at least another top 50 kid

Is this trio of commits today it for the class?
