We already have a top 5 incoming class, and a mcdonalds all american coming back from injury. Bryant might have gone to IU even if these sanctions never happened. We are still in good shape.
They weren't.
Is there any possibility any of the 4 coming in can back out now?
I think Thomas Bryant is just the start of the high level talent that will walk away from SU
All in on Battle and Moyer for 2016. No other scholarships available unless someone leaves (Chinoso?)I think that we're ok in the near future. We just really really need to recruit a center or two.
I really don't think the sanctions were the reason Bryant didn't come here. We will still get top end talent.

Will these prophesied "4 long awful years" drive you to the point of no longer watching Syracuse Bball/no longer posting on this board? Maybe?! Might not be such an awful four years after all...I think Thomas Bryant is just the start of the high level talent that will walk away from SU
They also don't recruit them all either. if you only consider SU offers, they still don't get them all, but it sure would be nice to pick up a few more of the top end ones since we've seen quite a few flameouts each year recently.Well, 95-98% of the Top 100 players don't pick Syracuse every single year (depending on how many scholarships we have open), so I guess you are right.

I wouldn't hang my hat on that "Top 5" ranking. I don't think it means much since most of the best players haven't even committed (to UK & Duke) yet. Can't get them all. Top 5 ranked class coming this year. Sorts odd to be griping about recruiting.

Well we don't get a ton of high end talent as it is, so I'm not sure anything will change much. we'll still land a McD AA very year to two, but we are unlikely to get any top 10 talents, like usual.I think Thomas Bryant is just the start of the high level talent that will walk away from SU
