No but the way some board members idolize someone who was a good player (not great) is a little bit over the top. PG is critically important and to think a coach who lives and breaths Syracuse would not know what was best for his team is silly.

Well you’re wrong, my opinion of Kadary as a recruit had nothing to do with his ranking and it was more about his shooting ability. He also showed a lot more in year one here than a lot of people expected.
I don’t think you idolize anyone. I think there is more that goes into team building than just putting in a player (no matter how talented) and say play the way you want and don’t listen to me. I think we can agree that Kadary wanted to ply different than he was allowed. More went into the minutes distribution (27 for Girard and 21 for KR) than Jimmy being mean or wanting to sabotage his team.
It seems to be a more recent thing, JB has always played the better players, I was on the Gillon train early on playing him over Frank, unfortunately it was too late after the switch was finally made.
Find me one shred of evidence that shows you that Joe should play more than Kadary other than (coach would never sabotage the team!) and I’ll never post on this forum again.
No, changing your opinion based on what you see is all good. Kadary was good and could have been very good here. He also started earning more time and still wasn’t happy. things weren’t going to work out unless he got more and free reign. Jimmy has had much better players over time and they do not dictate terms to him.

If K bought into what coach wanted I think he would have played more than Joe through end of the season (as he was during a stretch). If he agreed to listen and be coached and bought in I think he would have played more this season too and eventually started. Unfortunately he didn’t want to do those things and wanted “freedom”. He should get that at his new home and we can all bear witness to how that works for him and more importantly the team.

He got more time, but he should’ve gotten more. I would’ve left too, I saw Kadary ripped by coach for things he didn’t even do. We’d be down, he’d come in and get us back just to see the lead he built us go away.

When a lesser player has that freedom with no consequences and plays ahead of you why is it bad Kadary wants the same respect? Even with freedom I don’t see Kadary jacking up 5 second into the shot clock 38 footers.
We’ll see when both teams start playing. If you are trying to say you are confident in our PG play this year, you’re either lying or you don’t know jack about basketball despite your lazy handle.
Not at all. Play the best players. No one can convince me that JB wasn’t being stubborn about the pg situation last year
