I didn't like the incomplete pass to Jones (because it gave Purdue a free timeout).

But if it works, it works.

Yeah 2 play calls not to Tucker. THen he gets a handoff where we know he has no chance to get a 1st down but we have to kill some clock. Purdue gets ball back and everyone knows they will score especially the D.

Anae isn't doing that if Sean is having a normal game.

That was Anae's worst series of the game. Run it goal line formation 1st and second so on third they have to defend the run if you want to pass or play action.

I think they saw a chance to not only get a FD but to make a play and took the shot. with that much time left TOs were not the issue yet.

And if it went bad we would be killing him for not handing off to Tucker. Fact is, it’s all about the result. Sometimes bad decisions end up working out. And vice versa.
