Player/year/round?

Thoughts?

Slayton and Koda
Conway, Roberts, and Guthrie could see some run on scout teams

I dont see much Slayton hype anywhere.

We can speculate the 2020 draft in here as well. This is one of those “why’s saturday so far away?” Threads.

Slayton first 3 rounds

Koda first 5 rounds

Pierce first 5 rounds (unless he medical redshirts due to injury being worse than anticipated)

Dungey first 7 rounds (someone will take a flyer on 6-4 230lb kid who runs a 4.7, has experience, is smart and is a freak competitor). Will all depend on how he throws in the combine and pro day, and obviously how he finishes the year.

Custis first 7 rounds (6-5, 4.5 guys with decent stats don’t grow on trees. Bonus that he has good special teams film now as well)

Slayton (top 5 rounder), Custis, Robinson, Conway, Koda and Dungey in '19.

Don't think much has changed since the start of the season. Just see sone guys validating:

Slayton top 4 rounds
ED as a qb late depending on his arm the rest of the year ( btw, think he has lost arm strength and flexibility since adding to the guns with bulk)
Robinson, McKinley, Jonathon have a real shot.
Koda, Conway, and mostly Servais, Servais after showing versatility at all 5 line positions for his size top 4 rds.
Frederick and Cisco and trill down the line;)

Player/year/round?

Thoughts?

Slayton 2019, 4-5th round
Frederick 2020 5th round
Hoff 2020 7th round
Servais 2021 4th round
DeVito 2022 4th round
Trill 2022 2nd round
Cisco 2022 1st Round

I dont see anyone other than Slayton yet getting drafted and not convinced he is yet. Long way to go with the young kids.

really hope its one of the transfers or another WR in the system on 2-3 yrs cause that means we are really getting better. Would be nuce to see a DB get drafted someday thats a skill spot that a guy like they would be shutting down people.

The funny thing about the NFL is that they have a combine and measure 40 times. It is fascinating how all of a sudden guys magically get much, much slower.

This is my way of saying that one should never take at face value any reported 40 time (except in very limited circumstances when it is laser time and openly accessible to onlookers). It is also my way of saying there is no way on God's green earth that Dungey runs a 4.7 and Custis runs a 4.5. That would have been the second fastest 40 time for a QB and the 3rd fastest time for a WR in the 2018 combine.

Coleman, Slayton, Robinson are all draftable players.

Martin as well.

Dungey is a TE/RB in the NFL but I don’t see him drafted.

Custis if he has the speed will get a chance because of his size.

Pierce is definitely draftable. I just wonder whether he'll redshirt this season. He was 3 to play 2, right?

Not sure why the obsession with pierce. He is too small for TE and hasn't shown nearly enough. With his high crazy motor, maybe he would be a better lb, which fits his frame.

Glad Coleman got a mention. He's played well.
