Kipers draft board today

Yeah those are the main reasons. NFL loves their size charts, speed, etc. That's why Tom Brady went into the 6th round.

Kyle will play in the NFL for 10 plus years but will probably go in the 4-6th rounds. He looks like a pear which will scare off the GMs who want specimens at all positions
Wait until they get him on the practice field. I’ll bet he starts somewhere next year

Look, they do this for a living. But the draft is often a crap shoot.
Especially at QB. Look at all of the bust and then guys like Brady. QB is all over the board and its about fit. If Kyle ends up with the right team he will do well. Not saying he starts year one but he has the ability to start down the road

McCord reminds me of Burrow. Burrow got a lot more hype due to where he was playing. Both are very accurate (I don't care what some evaluators say). Neither is particularly mobile. Both can move in the pocket when they have one.

Arm strength is hard to measure with McCord because he wasn't asked to throw deep that often. Both teams don't have great offensive lines.

I want to see Kiper and Feinbaum in a battle until death. Winner gets shot.

There was a time when everyone got their info from cable tv and he could be the king of evaluating players but those days are gone.
He’s a personality now.

Arm strength isn’t just about throwing deep.

They’re talking the zip and speed on the ball with arm strength.

He was asked to do that a lot.

While his throw motion and decision is a quick throw, there were times the ball wasn’t moving through the air as fast as I would have liked.

No better example of this than the Pitt game.

A lot of the DBs were able to react to the ball quickly because it wasn’t coming super fast, they were able to get at least a hand on it and cause a tipped ball. At that point it was anyone’s ball

McCord should be a starter in the NFL eventually even with his “lack” of arm strength

What!? Do my eyes deceive me?
If Kyle's arm is weak, then what are Dungey's and Shrader's - cooked noodles?
Kyle isn't another Josh Allen, but his command of long throws is, in my eyes, excellent!
He's a turtle in the pocket, but so was Tom Brady.

As was the former GOAT pre-Brady, Joe Montana. The NFL stat geeks never learn.

Yeah, McCord processes quickly but his ball velocity is lacking a bit

Did PM have elite arm strength?

His issue will be hitting the smaller pro windows. He throws on time a ton here and can he do that at the pro level. He slides in the pocket which is good, but he won't extend many plays.

I think we sometimes got caught on locking in, but some of that was intentional when they identified the Rcvr who the ball should go to but they play required some waiting to know which way the play was going to break.. The Pitt game was the one where he locked on the routes and Pitt was jumping them. But really no one else did for most of the year.

The best thing about the offense was that we didn't always check down but took the play as defined by the D, 8 yds was fine if you can to it 2/3 of the time and we did.

Moving/arm strength/accuracy are the things I read.
Are you kidding me? Some of these QB "evaluators" should be fired immediately (before they're hung and shot). All year, except for the routes the thugs at Pitt jumped, KM has shown nothing but an amazing arm and NFL-level accuracy. He may not chuck the "fastest" ball, but he's been distributing the rock like candy all year and is every bit as accurate as TD. Not to mention that he can actually read defenses and do check-downs under pressure. Can't wait for Kyle to make some of these clowns eat crow.

You can't have a serious conversation with you guys. Shot? Hanged? Ridiculous.
They should clearly be put in a pit with starving lions.
I was thinking of a good ole fashioned stoning. I think thats about as brutal as it gets. But I like the lions idea.

You could even sell stones and somehow incorporate that into NIL. Big stones cost more, I think Id buy a bunch of smallish to medium size.

Stoning isn't bad either

Go back and watch games with a real eye though. Just the Miami game

There were some lights out throws. But Pros want lots of those not just a few,

The one Pena TD was a poor throw, but he was wide open so being short and on the wrong side didn't matter. In the pro's they want throws in very small windows, not just kinda good.

Not to say he didn't throw some darts like the Meeks slant TD. or the Meeks skinny post. or the First play of the game vs Uconn

But often the Pros the ball placement means the difference between 15yds and a house play.

His passes aren’t kinda good. He constantly throws in to tight windows and rarely misses. Don’t tell me you know anyone in college that is more accurate than McCord. He’s a much better player then Cam from Miami. He’s not in Kyle’s league

He kinda through 380 yards and 3 touchdowns and completed 72% of his passes. I wouid say he was kinda extremely accurate
