Had Dungey stayed in the game and continued hooking up with Steven it would have been like 64-7. I get it, our run game needs to get better before conference play. However, I don't see any reason to panic. Enjoy the win and get ready for next week. I also am always a little optimistic, but it seems like some of our posters are never happy. I look at what we've had for the majority of the last 16 years and with the exception of Nassib's senior year and the Dungey years we've been an extremely boring team to watch.

What's amazing is the attitude of the fair weather football fans in this town. I am at Costco this morning wearing a Cuse football hat and a guy walks up to me. He doesn't say that it is great the team took care of business last night winning 50-7 instead he complains that we can't run the ball. I said did you go to the game? Of course the answer is no and he won't be going to any games since nothing changes with the football program. Nothing changes except a very vanilla offense put up 500+ yards and 50 points with backups playing the. 4th quarter. Not sure what the university can do to change the mindset of people in this town about football.

Will we need a running game to win vs the top end teams on our schedule? I think so. But 550 yds and 50 points is good vs anyone.
