...from your friendly, neighborhood Fine Mess Tailgate 50-50 czar!

We ran raffles at all six home games plus roadies at Liberty, Maryland and Duke. In total we took in $3571 and paid out $3544. We took in additional contributions toward our charitable ventures and throw backs from raffle winners totaling $1376. Additionally we raffled off Dino Babers autographed footballs that were donated by S.U. Athletics at the Clemson and WMU games raising an additional $550. Finally, I financed the purchase of a handful of additional season tickets that enabled several group members to purchase an additional parking pass that they resold to core tailgate crew members ensuring all of our core group that regularly transport equipment would be accommodated in the Fine West Henry lot. With a lot of help we were able to resell those tickets and recoup our full outlay and actually turn a $75 profit giving us a total net income of $5572.

With that funding source we made several charitable contributions totalling $3259:

Tim Green's Tackle ALS Foundation - $1825
Tenth Mountain Division Association - $1134 (Brings our 4 year Military Appreciation accumulative gift to $2684)
ABC Basset Hound Rescue - $150
The Silver Knight Foundation - $150

Finally we made numerous investments of $2306 to upgrade our tailgate experience including:

A dedicated generator to power lights, TV and sound system
2019 edition of Fine Mess tailgate can koozies
A portable power station for roadies
A new, greatly improved Ultra PA Sound System (still locked on to JeremyCuse 's playlist!)
A third CaterAide Hot Box to keep those gourmet treats hot and ready to serve upon arrival
50 - 50 consolation prizes of S.U hats and key fobs
Replenished supply of orange Kwik-covers for our banquet tables because one must have a hint of color
A Dry Erase Easel Board for menu and announcements
Two cast iron griddles and grill presses
An additional banquet table and set of canopy weight plates
50-50 raffle supplies

I am starting to compile our 2020 wish list and open for suggestions. See you in 9 months!

Y’all do a fantastic job! Even through this rough season y’all made every game a blast.

already looking forward to next season!!

Those eats yesterday were absolutely fantastic. Thanks to all who made the tailgate as great an experience - btw, whoever was spinning the sequence that included the Mission Impossible theme song nailed it.

Once again, a phenomenal job done by everyone behind the tailgate. We really are lucky to have such a dedicated group who work so hard to make the experience top notch. Thanks again Mark for considering my Foundation as a recipient of the group's generousity!!
