A couple of relevant ESPN tidbits.

Sean McDonough--who was pretty much exactly the great guy I expected to meet in person when I shook his hand at the team hotel in Atlanta--said there was talk about dissolving this announcing team with all the upheaval and dissolution of what was left of the true Big East. I've always enjoyed this crew immensely and would be very disappointed if they broke these guys up.

ACC commish John Swofford already said the ACC is taking the Big East's Big Monday slot if ESPN is smart they just keep that 3 man booth together and have them do ACC games. Bilas and McDonough definitely still have contracts with ESPN for next year, and you gotta think if Raftery does as well I don't know, but these 3 would be great calling Big Monday ESPN games I hope they do.

I can do without Raftery. McDonough, I like. Raftery uses that strained voice thing of his way too often to be effective thus making himself annoying.:blah:

I love the banter between all three of them, and I like the way Raft mocks JB in the way only a friend could.
