A different take on this "rivalry" question

All those southern athletic directors, college presidents, trustees, and conference administrators knew the expanding to Florida and to the north was critical for the survival of their precious southern conference. Yes, survival.

Times change. A southeastern conference is now in Texas and Missouri. A Midwestern conference now has outposts in the mid-Atlantic. A pacific conference expanded into the Rockies. And a south atlantic conference is now eastern.

And honestly, I'm always VERY skeptical when someone claims "everyone agrees with me". As an apocryphal resident of the west side of Manhattan once said, "I don't know how Nixon won, no one I know voted for him". It's called selection bias.

Lastly, I'm accomplished too, and I have a TON of crackpot opinions. :)
