Why we should root for Rickie Fowler to win the Masters

Since I like most of the guys near the top of that leaderboard, I'll root for the accomplished players who have come close but haven't yet won a major. So it'll be Sergio and Rickie for me today. If not them, I'd like to see Rose or Scott get another major. Should be a great day of golf.

I agree that there isn't anyone that is so unlikable that I don't want them to win. I used to not be a big Sergio fan but he's fine now. I think my first choice would be Rickie getting his first major.

It's just so damn hard to win one of these things now, with all the talent out there internationally and all the new faces just emerging.

Kuchar was my first choice to see win this, but I'd be pleased to see Charley Hoffman win this, and also I'd applaud if Fowler or Moore did. It would relieve a lot of pressure on Fowler. I don't particularly like or dislike Speith or Rose, although I do like Adam Scott, especially watching his swing. Garcia may have grown up a lot in recent years, but was an arrogant dick for too long. But Charley would be a victory for "Everyman."

I'd be surprised if Rose doesn't finish the deal now but weirder things have happened on the back 9 at Augusta.

He owned property at Predator Ridge in Vernon, BC. Nice courses, the new Predator 18 is spectacular. I've been fortunate enough to play there several times with a friend who lives there. The locals had to put up with him, and they'll tell you what he was like.

I put $50 on there being a hole in One in the Masters at -150. Seems there is always one on the final day on 16. They made me wait a while but it paid off.
