As a team I can understand what you are trying to say. I am embarrassed by this defense. They didn’t embarrass themselves.
Four big plays made a huge difference.
Clean some stuff up and I’m encouraged
Agree 100%. Lot of spots to fill and angeli needs reps. He should be OK as long as he has time. He’s zero running threat. I think Collins plays at some point,They didn’t embarrass themselves.

Spot on commentary, even if lacking in the statistical department. Here's the whole problem
Today wasn’t closeMy baseline was NCSU/Tenn opener last year. State got destroyed 51-10 and it wasn’t that close. Lots to go off of, I hope ERob dials up some blitzes
Same here.Agree with you.
We had the ball on 26-38. Maybe it wasn’t close but we had a real chance to get it.Today wasn’t close
True. It was very frustrating to watch. They were like a cat playing with a mouse. We were never actually in it, even though it seemed like we could come back and win. They toyed with us. While a win wasn’t expected, I wish we had shown a little bit more. I just watched a full game and I still don’t know what we have. Some might be optimistic, but I’m not so sure.We had the ball on 26-38. Maybe it wasn’t close but we had a real chance to get it.
And that's not a coaching issue. The D line looked like an issue coming into the season. We have a ways to go yet to be able to compete with high end teams on defense.Same here.
Except we have an issue with the D line. They can’t generate any rush. When you have to move a backup tight end to d end, you have issues.
4-8 has always been on the table. 6-6 would be great. 6+ wins would be outstanding. My head says maybe 5-7, but it’s a long season and things happen. Would love to get to 7-5, but I’m still dreaming of 11-1. I honestly hope 4-8 isn’t the result but it’s a real possibility.I think we will be fine offensively...unless Cook is out for a while. Willis is a monster. OL was good running the ball, but can't give up that many sacks.
Defensively we just don't have the dudes to compete at a high level. Tackling was atrocious. Nobody on that side of the ball flashes. I'm more worried about the schedule. Even the "winnable" games like Duke will be extremely tough with their QB and Diaz defense. GT beat a very improved Colorado defense on the road. Our schedule is a meat grinder and I just don't know if our defense will hold up.
