Gotta say that I was actually down yesterday as a result of Franklin's comments in particular, but also Dungey made reference to how little attention they were getting, (something about empty tripods) or understanding the pecking order and how respect is hard earned in the ACC. I appreciate they both said it is a motivator, but it is a glaring spotlight on how far we still need to climb with perceptions. I really hope they can use that to motivate themselves and their teammates. I want to see them shock some people and start getting the right attention. I for one am tired of seeing us at the bottom of all these pre-season predictions (this year for hoops too?) I see us as #5 in conference personally. FSU, Clemson, UL, NCState (this year anyway) then us.

Let's pump the brakes on this narrative until we have one 500 season. I have been punched so much as a Syracuse fan that i'm not going to genuflect to Dino until we are a Bowl caliber team. Sorry if that is negative but we need to stop being so enthused by great press conferences and winning the offseason.

I think Dino is wonderful for the program but I do agree entirely with your comments!

I totally agree but the program is in such a tenuous position that to be excited about it right now is foolish until we see this thing taking off and sustaining again.

Lol well I appreciate the already apparent culture and attitude change. Along with the arguably improved recruiting. I love that in one year its already clear that he has a plan for recruiting and we're consistently winning battles against schools we should be on that front. I'll only entertain calling it arguable because this will be the first year we'll really get to see "dino's guys" in action. I can appreciate pumping the breaks as the on-field performance is still not up to par. But ive placed my full faith in Dino and his proven ability to build programs and succeed. Theres been noticeable progress each step along the way. Its not ridiculous to even say we were potentially a bowl team last year had numerous injuries not struck us. We've recruited, embraced his training philosophy and worked to overcome those same issues this year and its noticeable while keeping up day to day

Me too, this kid is just amazing. From his smile to his energetic vibe to the way he plays to win. He seems genuinely happy to be Orange and he represents the heck outta Cuse every time he is interviewed or takes the field.

Wow! This is such an awesome pic! The players having a weekend with their HC and having some awesome food (i assume) . Think about the opportunity to get to know your HC away from the team! ED and ZF have earned it. Add in the opportunity to talk to coaches and stud players you compete against. So happy to see ED there rubbin elbows
