That is great. I hate it when White, Lydon and battle aren't on the floor. Great job JB.

About the only concern I have about this is possible back to back games in ACCT

now you see these numbers as a good thing. i see it as a red flag.
now red flag noun generally means warning sign. flag as verb means becoming tired or weak.

we'll wait and see how these high numbers play out come march.

I agree. JB is smart and it is very simple. Play your best players and you have a better chance to win. People get too caught up in depth
The purpose of this thread is to set up the oft-voiced complaint that boeheim wears his players out during the season and the team suffers for it at the end. It's a version of the "short bench" complaint voiced by the usual set of JB critics who wish they were as smart as he is, but are not.

every coach in the ACC has 5 players who start. nobody plays all 5 for 40 minutes. now ask yourself "why is that?" why sub period ?

Ask Florida State how subbing worked against Syracuse. It dug them a 15 point hole having Isaac and Bacon on the bench.

Gbinije, Cooney, and Malachi were so tired last year that was the reasons didn't make the FF.

thank you townie for delving into my mind and defining my purpose . now i see your purpose as defending the indefensible.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, knew why and what your agenda was. It really doesn't matter however. We don't have the players to play more. DC is shot and Howard is just not good enough.

here's the ncaa top 100.(we got 3 in the top 40)
hey wouldn't you think the top programs would be better represented if 35+ minutes was a good idea ?

NCAA Basketball Player Stats - Minutes Played

just seems crazy to sub . but what do the top coaches know ?
LOL Maybe we should play walk ons? w don't have the players to play more. Period.

Just out of curious, where did Cooney and silent G rank in minutes played last year? Or Triche and MCW in '13? Having gone to two final fours in the last 4 years, maybe JB is on to something. Here is the thing. early in the season, DC and Howard were both starting. Let alone playing. And the team sucked so bad that we are now in a desperate situation that we have to win games. and like all coaches who shorten their bench when the games have added meaning, JB is forced to do that earlier than even he usually would.

The team has won 4 in a row including two over top 10 teams, but you have to find something to complain about. What a malcontent. If you were a player, they'd probably clear the way for you to transfer to Iona.

when did the NCAA knock us down to 6 schollies ?

coleman is available. or didn't you know that.

"Available"? Is he 100%? Is he available to play well and help us win? He started and helped us win last year. Seems like there's gotta be a reason he's barely playing now.

So we're down to 7...with the 8th being a guy that's battled knee injuries his whole career and is "available" according to you, but not at his best according to the coach.

Not sure what point you thought you were making with the "we're down to 6 scholarships?" thing.
