The D was really disappointing. Particularly the secondary which looked to be pretty deep and talented. When you look back at how the D performed, how terrible special teams were and how inconsistent our run game was, 10-3 is amazing. We threw the ball very well, dominated time of possession and were really clutch at the end of games. Leadership was there with Kyle in particular, as far as player leaders go, Fran obviously did great work as the leader of the program, he got buy in from day 1I thought this was a 10 win team from day 1. I also thought the defense would be a lot better than it ended up being. It’s amazing we gave up that many points to BC and lost. Their offense is atrocious. Even Stanford. That was the worst offensive game we had and it was before Meeks started to get more snaps. We still had them 4th and long knowing they were going to Ayomander and we don’t blitz and let him get enough for 1st down. Two tough losses to swallow. The stars don’t align for teams like this all the time. You have to capitalize and we did for the most part.
