As someone pointed out earlier, there's always HULU & YouTubeTV.

Yeah, but that won’t work for me with my cable, phone and internet tied in one package. I’ll have to follow tbd games on my phone until Comcast joins the crowd.

Let me go into a hypothetical for a moment...

Say someone were to have a log-in to Charter Spectrum. Say this log-in allowed access to premium channels such as HBO & Showtime because the account connected to the log-in has the top cable package.

Would someone with that log-in have access to the ACC Network through the ESPN app?
i think so

Hypothetically, I suppose that someone could watch the ACC Network on the prison TV will he's doing time for cable piracy... assuming he's tough enough to wrestle the remote from the other inmates, of course.

Just got off the phone with Comcast. Wasn’t expecting any new news but was hoping maybe they had a script or something for customers asking about it. Rep had no clue what I was talking about (she was super nice). She put me on hold and asked someone else. Still in negotiations. The crazy thing to me is that I see a lot of news articles telling customers to put pressure on their providers... how?

I'm not surprised the rep didn't have a clue. When I spoke with DirecTv, and they were already going to carry the ACC Network, noone knew what the heck I was talking about.

So true. I can’t figure out how to put pressure on Comcast. But I have a relative who works for Comcast and I’m going to find out this weekend.

I have a friend that works there (although in billing) and I asked what was the protocol for people calling in and applying said pressure (“I want ACCN”). He said there really isn’t any. Maybe not his department but they, or at least he, isn’t required to forward the request nor is there a form or anything to log it. They have me by the gonads here, the only real option for Internet in my town and with the way packages work, I’d spent more doing the various streaming services.

A Comcast employee recommended providing feedback using this link.

Parker should call John Wildhack for better information. He's clueless about how this all works ... and clearly in a grumpy mood as another uncertain season approaches.

So what channel is the ACC network on directtv? Do you need the sports package?

That is kind of weird. Syracuse fans played a key role in getting Spectrum on board. So yay, we did good!

We have a strong presence in NYS. Comcast has almost no coverage there.

We have a strong presence in central Florida. Comcast has almost no coverage there.

We have a strong presence in North Carolina. Comcast has almost no coverage there.

Comcast does have some coverage in NJ, especially the southern part and eastern PA, both areas with some SU presence. They have strong coverage in the DC metro area, where we are also strong. And we are strong in New England, especially around Boston, another area with strong Comcast coverage.

Comcast is big near Chicago (ND). BC fans also need to step up, as do Pitt fans (Comcast is very big in SW PA). It is big near Atlanta (hello GT and Clemson fans), northern FLA (FSU) and southern FLA (Miami). I guess VT still has some fans in Northern VA and it looks like there is a strong presence near Blackburn as well. UVa has to have some fans in Northern VA as well.

Let’s get after Comcast you big slackers.

As a member of the board of the Central NJ Syracuse Alumni Group, I can tell you, its a big SU market here and a very Comcast market. Ive already tweeted a threat to cancel and switch to dish (which I probably cant ultimately do because my signal blows but they dont know that)

I've tried tweeting, calling, and posting on Cox Cable's customer service forum, and have gotten the "I will add your name to the ACCN channel request list. If it gets added, you will see it reflected in the next billing statement." Customer service reps, don't deviate from that script even when pressed. I have no idea what other recourse I have :(

I have the sports package but I also have the regional sports package. Thank you SU sports. I would say you probably have to have some type of sports package as I get the Big 10 and SEC networks and never had to sign up for them. As to which channel they have nothing listed for the ACC Network on their website yet but it will probably be somewhere in the 600s.
