YupI expect UNC to suck this year. I don’t see BB working out there at all.

Just as long as they suck on HalloweenYup
UNC - Doing less with more since 1980.Just as long as they suck on Halloween
Actually I want UNC to be consistently meh decent (6-7 wins) under Belichek...with some Jordan drama
But this cannot be as we were informed over the past several months that UNC is THE PRIZE, not Clemson or FSU.Nothing terribly novel here, but Matt Hayes (writer)![]()
No time to stand still: SEC needs Florida State, Clemson to close gap with Big Ten
Florida State and Clemson showed last weekend what we've known all along: they're the perfect fit for the SEC. Sooner than later.www.usatoday.com
is very well connected to Stankey. Not saying that Stankey served as a Ghost writer here, just that the author’s mindset was very likely pressure tested via Stankey in the last few weeks.

On a serious note, the SEC can want Clemson and FSU immediately but Clemson is not likely to pay the exit fee right now and it is hard to imagine that FSU can raise funds for the exit fee any time soon. They won't have a quick ROI, and can get out for peanuts in six years, possibly a year or two earlier as the exit fee drops.
Yeah, really. Just because Michigan and Ohio State won titles, that does not disturb the analysis. So what if Florida and Tennessee haven't won lately. Georgia and Alabama started rolling. If they leave after 27-28 then they just have funds withheld. They wouldn’t need to raise exit fee money. Although without income they would need funds to pay for salaries and costs. Also this is assuming they get a full share in the new conference which probably doesn’t happen. Especially before the new TV contracts.
I don’t get the premise of the article’s headline. The B1G needs to catch the SEC in both sports.
UNC to the SEC would be like going from the Schillenger of the ACC to the Beecher of the SECBut this cannot be as we were informed over the past several months that UNC is THE PRIZE, not Clemson or FSU.
