Up until today I had thought SS was doing OK. Rookie head coach little learning curve. After 56-0 against a team that is one-dimensional .....I have my doubts. He better win at least 5 and make the last game "meaningful" or I would have no issue pulling the plug after 1 year if the rest of the season is ugly loss after ugly loss.

He didn't do himself any favors today. I feel so bipolar after last week, it's really deflating. Trying to change your whole defensive scheme and using a seldom used LB? Trying to outsmart yourself isn't the best idea.

Offense didn't execute at all, downfield passing is as nonexistent as I've ever seen. And the team had no answer for losing Macky.

As a side note, and probably won't be reviewed because it had no impact on the game, but we should be sending some of those calls/no calls to the ACC office. First half alone, the PF on Micah, the punt catch interference on Coker, the non grounding call on GT. All complete garbage. Announcers will probably get fired for disagreeing with each call.

And finally, related to nothing, it doesn't help my mood to watch Northwestern completely fall apart.

I'm not sure I agree with you in regard to this game. I can't comprehend why we're in a 3-4 base -vs- a triple option team. If we got a couple of stops and eliminate the TO's, this could have been a competitive game.

The 3-4 bizarre. With the stunts it plays right into the offenses hands. They're clueless

NC State was terrible. We're not used to 56k people showing up for terrible teams.

They played us without that same starting tailback. As for QB it's only a story for them if they have to go to the 3rd string. Top 2 are interchangeable. That same "backup" was 15-19 for 260 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT against us.

Tech fans around me were all in agreement that the flags were disgusting. There's no way a team that runs every play while chop blocking gets zero penalties for the game.
