So,
Except for BC and Virginia Tech every other ACC team this year is running the zone D more than they have in the past. Miami actually has run it over 50% more than they ran it last year. So it follows that teams are getting better (or will have to get better) against the zone, which will start chipping away at the Orange's long-held advantage. Duke actually has faced it nearly 25% of the time this year, up from less than 9% last year. Duke is going to be a huge problem, Pitt actually has historically played well against the zone anyway, so we're in for a tough few games.
