the good news is that there is no mention of a north and south division. How will they decide who gets the home and home: random, equal over time, or by power rankings? I want home and home with the two big boys and Pitt. No one else counts.

I'd also want Maryland (even though they kinda suck) It will be a home game for Cuse fans around the Beltway.
Not in this lifetime, Mark.
Tickets to UMD Conference games are just about impossible to get.
As opposed to Georgetown or Rutgers, there's a huge Terrapin fan base in DC.
Maryland averaged 14,910 fans per game last year at the 17,950 seat Comcast Center. That means that, on average, the place was filled to about 83% capacity for the 2010-11 season.Well for the FIU game the place looked nearly empty.

For reference, the Carrier Dome was at 82% capacity on average for SU football games this past season.
Would 'Cuse take over Charlottesville? Spent a little time in Fairfax back in the day and recall Charlottesville being only about a 2 hour drive? Would be cool to see Syracuse Orange take over UVA's court.

Ahh, the mean average as a descriptive statistic.
The ACC games at UMD are sold out. Attendance for some of the OOC schedule is weak.
You cannot buy season tickets. I have tried and there's a huge waiting list along with all sorts of requirements.
When you average the OOC games and the ACC games together you get 14,910.
Let me remake the point. Syracuse fans are not going to come within a 1,000 miles of taking over the UMCP gym for an ACC game. It won't happen.
Same with UVA. It's a hard 2 hour drive from DC and traffic for the first part of that is horrific.
I have been to many, many Terp games and the visiting crowd is a complete non-factor. The ACC games are filled to the rafters.
You were on the back of his bicycle drinking beers? Bold move. Hope you had your helmet. The drive is less horrific when Billy Orange is driving and you're knocking back beers.
Didn't you know ... haven't you been reading their crap for the last month? ESPN knows everything ...and what they don't know they make up or manipulate.Interesting - I know it means nothing, but the 'Info' for today's game on ESPN2 closes with "Syracuse joins the Wolfpack in the ACC next season."
Does ESPN know something we don't?
