According to twitter: Chandler to announce tomorrow...

Think he needs another year and will also be a huge boost for SU.

obviously the family isnt hurting for money, and on twitter/fbook stalking he always says he loves college etc... He can come back next year take a grad class and hopefully compete for all american honors and live the life and then next Jan he is out and hopefully a first day pick... SAYING PRAYERS TONIGHT

Why announce anything if he's going to stay in school. He's gone.

My guess is.....I have no idea.

Get used to it.

When Marrone starts bring in Top 20 recruiting classes, they'll all be leaving early. :p

3:30 p.m. exactly?

I'm holding him to that. If it's 3:31, he has to stay.

Tell that to Matt Barkley (not comparing CJ's talent to MB either)

HUGE difference. Every college football fan and sports network was wondering what decision Barkley was going to make. He would also have been a 1st round pick had he declared. Plus, it's a USC player.

Announcing it to who? I can't see much of a media turnout. I imagine Brent Axe with a microphone standing alone waiting for his decision. But nobody will hear it cause the signal on 1260 goes for about 40 yards.

It would be odd for him to hold an announcement to say he is staying. I would guess he is gone.

If he goes does that mean:

1) He doesn't want to get hurt his senior year like Art

2) He doesn't like the direction of the program: the fired coaches or the supposedly tough to deal with head coach

I would guess it has more to do with #2. Because he was injured alot this year and you want to enter the draft coming off a "healthy and productive" season, not an injury plagued one. Especially if you are coming out early

He's announcing to his twitter followers of which he has a ton. He's a big interactor with his followers. I think he's undoubtedly saying. Would be very surprised if he bolted.

He and Art's situations are so different. Art was a 1st or 2nd round pick after his junior year, he probably should've left.

Right now Chandler might be a 6th or 7th rounder, but he could definitely play his way into the 3rd or 4th. He should absolutely stay.

This. He's not setting up a PC, he's in NYC right now. I'd be SHOCKED if he announced he was leaving. He even quoted someone a couple weeks ago who had said because of his brother leaving early and it hurting Arthur's draft stock, it meant Chandler was leaving too. He responded to the article by saying, people think they know what i'm going to do by my tweets, looks like I have to switch it up a bit. Saying I'd be surprised is an understatement.

...you know how tempting it is to say, "I have a feeling and I'm never usually wrong about them". I don't want that phrase becoming well known like thickburger was though..

I think Pierre-Paul's draft position and early success bode well for Chandler. I also think people who say that Chandler can go from a 6th rounder to a 3rd or 4th rounder with a good season, are selling him short. He showed enough when he was on the field this year that, mixed with the impressive combine that I expect from him, he could be in that 3rd-4th area as is, without it being too much of a reach.

But finally mixing a year of health and consistency could result in a Matthias Kiwanuka type of season and draft spot.

I hope for his sake he stays takes out the max insurance and has a killer year. I have heard nothing
