I can't see much of a media turnout. I imagine Brent Axe with a microphone standing alone waiting for his decision.
Impossible. Axe is on vacation this week.

Can someone explain why he would announce a decision to leave at this point? Why wouldn't he wait another month or two? I would think an announcement now gets lost in later player announcements nationwide as the year progresses ... no?
If he has signed with an agent, then maybe an agent is pulling strings and telling him what to do. Who knows.
If he is staying then this is nothing more than a cry for attention. If he is leaving then god bless him and best of luck.
fwiw ive heard staying
Injuries play a major role in performance.i honestly could care less-
guy has been way more hype than substance-just like marinovich
one more hole on defense wont matter-too many holes to plug to worry about just one

best you got?Wow. Just wow. Do you watch football games?
The fact you compare Jones to Marinovich proves it. Jones was the only DE on our team that could generate a significant pass rush by himself. He was in the backfield a lot at the end of the year and really proved himself. Marinovich rarely generated a pass rush as he was a much better DE against the run as he set the edge for the LB's. His hype is well deserved, if he stays and is healthy all season next year, we'll see sack totals around 15. He is the best player on our defense by far.best you got?
I can't get the image of him being chased down by that Pitt offensive lineman out of my head. The draft board experts won't be able to either.

This team had absolutely nothing left in the tank over the last four games - our starting corners had casts on for christsakes.
bnoro...why waste your time with this a$$clown? It's impossible to have an honest bebate with someone who simply seeks attention and/or has an IQ slightly above room temperature. The fact you compare Jones to Marinovich proves it. Two words...quality depth! Here is a good question. Why is it 3 straight years now we have finished the season on fumes and nothing left in the tank? Is it just SU or is that true of most teams? Do we do something wrong that doesn't allow for us to finish strong? Do we go TOO hard in practice thus more guys get banged up?

Didn't we actually run practices without contact during the 2010 season due to lack of bodies? If I remember correctly, we were way below the 85 scholly limit prior to the injury bug.Nah. That might be the answer to a different question but not to why we get banged up so much and running on fumes at the end of the year. Everyone is going to practice just as hard no matter what the depth is and starters are still going to play the majority of minutes even with better depth.

Wow an announcement on twitter, an application where teenagers annouce their every mundane thought and action, that the kid is going to make an annoucement is a "cry for attention". Who knew?
