Adkins and Anselmo

Just wondering, based on the timing is it possible that the offers to Adkins and Anselmo were made only after they each told Marrone that they did not plan on remaining in Syracuse? Adkins was rumored to be wrapped up for Va. Tech and there was a significant amount of speculation that Anselmo was planning on retiring in the near future.

Doesn't really explain what need Marrone would have for them on the Bills staff. Unless he's just a great guy doing favors for friends. Or he thinks he needs someone to recruit Georgia and NYC.
