JB and Davis need some face time together. They could have a "town hall" to "encourage more victims to come forward".

That would quiet these salem witch trialers.

I hate the idea of JB and Davis having any kind of public appearance right now. Hate. There are still too many unknown details to do that; with the way this clusterf**k has gone I'd half expect the police to arrest Davis the day after for forging the tape, and watch JB's credibility get flushed for that. Don't get me wrong, at this point Davis is looking very credible...but with this story you just don't know.

I'd rather see JB come out on Thursday or Saturday (depending on the arc of this storyline of groups calling for him to be fired), and announce how sorry he is and he's going to do something basket ball like to raise money for victim groups. The fact it isn't just him cutting a check but rather organizing an event would explain why it took so long to announce...and can nip the storyline right when it reaches it's peak.

Still, it would be nice to have some kind of publicly documented reaction from Davis, indicating how much he appreciates what JB is doing.Who better to silence the Salem Witch Trialers than the person they are advocating for?

His response to JB's robo-presser statement yesterday made me think he would go along with whatever JB wanted. He came across as a star struck homer.

As to your other points, I agree, great idea. JB could start splitting his time between Cancer fund raising and abuse fund raising.

Very good idea. Tangibly addresses complaints that Boeheim's remarks set back victim advocacy, and accomplishes some good for victims of abuse.
