You know what, that is seriously a great idea for a charity event after the season. I would pay money to watch the two teams play. I wonder if JB and the team would be interested in raising money that way.

I am sure there is some NCAA regulation as to why you can't do that. Give Mook to the bench and Cooney to the starters, no way are they going to play the whole game

Right. Absolutely a violation.

However, I'm certain there is no violation in making a practice session open to the public for a ticket charge. The team could just call it a scrimmage and sell tickets. And all of the money would go to the athletics department. Unfortunately, you probably have to do that in-season.
