An example of a competent D1 hire

Dawgg is there anything at all that you think the coaching staff didnt do a great job at this year? Do you really think that Hack did a good job this year? Are you happy with our O? What are some of us missing?

What are you talking about? Did you follow the conversation between orange and I? It was a joke what he was posting and I was merely asking what I was missing from the guys bio; which was exactly nothing. Did you not read or conveniently forget all of my posts in which I criticize what has happened - this includes going all the way back to last year when we almost didn't make a bowl game.

KC lost me when he put his stamp of approval on one of Seemore Glass' posts. Sad really, because they come from two very different perspectives.
I thought that the glass post about the bios of the top oc's was excellant.

Think he'd come here as QB coach? Assuming we could keep the salary the same or even a modest increase with our new found conference money on the horizon? Hackett isn't going anywhere, Marrone isn't going to switch again. So Warner would have to report to a 17 year old, but a chance to help out the alma mater.

And with Conley apparently departing, we have an alum slot open.

I doubt it. He has a very good gig at MSU and a pretty good QB waiting to start next year. It would be a step down for him.

He would be a good guy for DM to have taken a shot on as an OC/QB coach. He has two degrees from SU, he worked as a grad assistant for the Orange, he has been a solid QB coach for about 25 years, he has coached a few other positions and has even briefly been an OC early in his career. He has done an excellent job with QB's at MSU and it wouldn't surprise me if some smart program gave him a phone call to move up.

Don't know how good a recruiter he is. He lives very close to our high school so he may or may not have kids of that age...if so, that makes it tougher to relocate.
