Even if he doesn't win this year for him to be one of three finalists his Freshman year is an honor in itself. I'm sure he is having the time of his life. Plus he will be a finalist for the award again next year.

I feel like many are trying to limit expectations here, but the kid has the number to win this. If he was wearing any other jersey I’d view him as the front runner. That doesn’t change in my mind just because he’s orange or because I really want him to win. It’s the ncaa I guess, so anything is possible, but he should be bringing a trophy back to Syracuse Thursday.
