Annual College Draft

Bees the neutrals have spoken...TexBauer it is.

I'm checking off the Internet for a bit. My able co-commisioner should be around.

I'm pretty sure WVU and Pittssburgh have a pretty significant football rivalry.

Missed that, so do Pittsburgh and Penn State. Work really distracts me from this board. It's an awful thing.
priorities bro, college lectures distracted me from this board too.

I wish I spent as much time doing work, as I do on this board haha

Chris wins the most profitable football portion as he found value in teams like Iowa State, Texas Tech, Minnesota which don’t have big brands, but are profitable football teams. This is the largest criteria I listed, but we got basketball, markets, network potential as well. Tex Bauer is 2nd and 3rd/4th is real close.

Averages- I am going to throw everyone’s worst ranking out for fairness no way Georgia Tech(65),Notre Dame(80). UCF(82), Colorado(96) should swing this.

BK-34.2(38.1) including 5 of the top 25
Chris-28.4(30.7) including 6 of the top 25
Tex Bauer- 41.9(44.4) including 4 of the top 25
Kaiser- 31.1(34.1 including 8 of the top 25

Kaiser wins basketball regardless that Chris’s average is the lowest in fact BK is 2nd IMO. The top 4 brands are split between these Duke, Kentucky for BK, and North Carolina, Kansas for Kaiser. Chris again doesn’t draft clunkers and has a great conference, but I can’t call his conference the best basketball conference.

Chris- 6 teams
Tex Bauer- 5 teams
Kaiser- 7 teams

Pretty even here.

I did not pay attention to profitability per se.

Having Iowa st, iowa proper and Minnesota etc...in a conf is bad for TV business.

I'm guessing that will all shake out.

Same with regionalization and obvious potential conf splitting like the big east.

How on earth is Missouri less profitable than Temple?
Mizzou had a lot debt which lowered their profits. I have crunched the numbers more if Mizzou didn't have that episode with Mizzou Arena scandal and lost a huge donation they would be in 40s for FB and 30s for BB, but they did and that is why they are low.

Depends where u look.

I had a website up at one point that showed overall Athletic Dept profitability, from D1-D3 combined...and BC was top 50 with a profit of about 1.4million.

At the end of the day...location, location, location...
