I will post my plans as I know them. Right now only plan is making sure Cal regrets ever joining the ACC by the time I’m done with this place.
I’m busting out the tie-dye shirt, blue SU shorts and blue SU hat. I’ll be tough to miss.Very nice! I’ll be wearing a navy blue Otto hat and an orange fleece. Come say hi. Not much of a tailgating scene there, only really in lots for season ticket holders and frat so you aren’t missing out. Most people pregame at bars as there’s tons within walking distance.
Apparently Raleigh’s is open at 9:30 tomorrow morning. We have plans to see friends who live in Berkeley tonight for dinner. I’ll post if we go out after and have any concrete plans. They have two young kids so it’s tough to know timing
Tomorrow I can’t find any bars open early. Might grab postgame drinks before our dinner reservations.
You staying in San Fran? I’m by the airport and will be Ubering over in the morning to the stadium areaFlight to SFO takes off in about 2 hours, OiG incoming.
Got a guest house room at an Airbnb in Berkeley. You staying in San Fran? I’m by the airport and will be Ubering over in the morning to the stadium area
Jesse you living in Sacramento now?About to kick off 27 hours of sports madness:
1. Heading downtown in a couple hours for Kings vs Timberwolves in-season tourney at 7 PM.
2. Aiming to arrive in Berkeley around 10:30 AM tomorrow.
3. Heading back to Sacramento after the game for a 7 PM tipoff Kings vs Jazz tomorrow night.
Just for good measure let's add Bills Chiefs on Sunday even though that won't be in-person, it will still be an event!
Section P row 34, seat 3 - come say hi and Go Orange!
My wife is a UW alum and we’ve tailgated there, it’s incredible to hang amongst those trees.OT: a UL fan I know is tailgating at Stanford this weekend. Parking is super easy at Stanford for our tailgate there in a couple years.
Saw a bunch of Louisville fans downtown San Fran today for their game tomorrowOT: a UL fan I know is tailgating at Stanford this weekend. Parking is super easy at Stanford for our tailgate there in a couple years.

Looks like there’s a place called
Raleigh’s Pub that opens at 9:30am
Address is:
2438 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704
I want to say the Cal fans are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever been around. I would like to especially thank the chap sitting behind me who freely offered up his flask of high end Johnny Walker. It was a tad cool in the shade. Shifted at half time to the sun side and was more than comfortable.I’m busting out the tie-dye shirt, blue SU shorts and blue SU hat. I’ll be tough to miss.
Agree. Great trip. Highly recommend it. Couple nice hotels right on campus and friendly hosts. Campus is absolutely beautiful. Would plan a longer trip next time and send more time exploring around the Bay Area. Really is beautiful. I usually only go for work and had never been to Berkeley before.I want to say the Cal fans are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever been around.
