I don't need to convince myself it is a waste of money, I need SU to prove that it is a worthwhile investment. If it was/is to position us as a viable option for the ACC, great. Say it.

Agreed. I have not heard or read from SU or from the ACC that specifically our NYC market share was the reason behind our selection over RU and UCONN. Did it play a factor? Of course, but since no college program will ever truly dominate the NY market, I'm willing to think the ACC saw us as the "best of the bunch" and not the end-all-be-all reason.

And short of those facts, I'm still suspect as to the ROI on this endeavor based on what I see and experience as an alum and a fan.
