UConn's puppetry program is considered the best in the country and is very well thought of within the theatre/entertainment industry. It has a connection to the Henson family and the Muppets. In other words, UConn is to puppeteers what Syracuse is to sportscasters. (Oddly enough, I had lunch yesterday with a theatrical producer, and somehow the conversation drifted to UConn's puppet program; that is the only reason I know all this).
