AP (23) / Coaches (25) Polls for Dec 1

Another 14 for Miami. They’re done. No CFP for them. But at least Alabama got another 11. Thank god they’re guaranteed a CFP spot. It’s all BS. Illinois LOLOL.
And they ensured the Big 12 was secure with Arizona State being 12

Georgia rewarded for an 8 OT win at home over Tech by moving up as well.

Pretty clear this was games to keep SEC, ND, Big Ten in safely.

Was ND really even punished by pollsters for that ugly Northern Illinois loss?

Agreed. Though holding out hope the CFP splits with them. They’ve cared more about number of losses to this point. Of course wouldn’t be surprised to see them make up a different thing now.

If UNLV beats Boise, it helps our SoS argument to move up, but keeps UNLV ahead of us in polls.

But if UNLV wins Conference title and bowl game they'd have 12 wins.

If Ohio wins Conference title and bowl, they'd have 11 wins.

If Miami wins their bowl game, they'd have 11 wins.

And we beat them all.

they are only other D1 team to play in a dome I believe.
My other team is Montana, so I gotta correct you here - Idaho, Idaho State, North Dakota, NDSU, and Northern Arizona all play in domes at the D1 level. At the FBS level though, you are correct, it's us and the Roadrunners. Unless you count retractable roof stadiums, then you can add UNLV.

College Football show on Sirius this morning thought us not being ranked was lunacy and pointed to our road UNLV win. They both thought we’d be ranked in the CFP poll when it’s released. We’ll see.

yes, ty for clarifying, I meant I-A. I knew Idaho played indoors at I-AA but did not know about the other I-AA teams that played in domes.

I only bring it up because they're cool domes! NAU in particular is a bucket list stadium for me

I've been to Flagstaff, nice place and I like it even more now that I've seen this.

Nobody knows, cares or remembers who wins bowl games now. They are vestigial and nothing but a vacation jaunt for local chambers of commerce officials and corrupt economic development representatives.

Like it or not, you don’t often leapfrog teams who don’t lose. Especially if you weren’t in the rankings the week prior.
This. Only a few teams ahead of us lost that we realistically should be ranked higher than. Let's win the bowl game, then we'll see.
