That would be smart but I doubt they do that based on their track record. They’d also be wise to get a HC with experience running a (clean) program at a mid conference level or D1AA.If I am them I would give Tony White a look.
Noooo. But in all honesty, makes sense. He was only there 1 year thoughIf I am them I would give Tony White a look.
BooIf I am them I would give Tony White a look.
Already under one.Money do you think ASU is headed for a big investigation? Hopefully that would deter Coach White a bit for returning the interest shown in him.
He’s got to succeed at a DC job further up the P5 food chain before he’ll start getting a look like that.If I am them I would give Tony White a look.

Sounds like why people thought Nathaniel Hackett wasn't good enough for SU.His name might make a ling list of potential candidates, but with no HC experience (other than one year at a small HS in Cali) I would be shocked if he makes anyone’s short list for a HC opening at a P5 school.
Our biggest threat to lose Coach White will be poachers from other P5 programs. SU needs to step up and make him a well paid P5 DC.
The program is going on the right direction. SU needs to do whatever they can to keep the program improving.
Pay the man and his assistants.
After last weekend, they might have been right.Sounds like why people thought Nathaniel Hackett wasn't good enough for SU.
Huh? Marrone brought Hackett with him to the NFL, and Hackett had three NFL OC gigs before he got the Broncos job.Sounds like why people thought Nathaniel Hackett wasn't good enough for SU.
I've disliked him since November 19, 1978. Hard to believe that was 44 years ago.
I was there, Section 117.I've disliked him since November 19, 1978. Hard to believe that was 44 years ago.
Oof. It was hard enough watching on TVI was there, Section 117.
If I am Tony White I would not even think about it, with the investigations, the roster and the total state of the program at ASU.If I am them I would give Tony White a look.
This is exactly what Syracuse should be doing instead of paying the head coach $5-8 million like BIG/SEC schools, they should be paying top dollar for coordinator positions and low to mid-level for the head coach. His name might make a long list of potential candidates, but with no HC experience (other than one year at a small HS in Cali) I would be shocked if he makes anyone’s short list for a HC opening at a P5 school.
