Arthur Jones has passed

A buddy of mine from college's brother in law was a coach [and is now the HC, I believe] of UE football.

One day, he told me that we were about to land a big time prospect. It was Arthur Jones. Apparently, he was a big 'Cuse fan, and didn't seriously consider other schools.

We were lucky to have him.

Terrible to hear. Genuinely one of my favorite Cuse players. He truly was an excellent player and by all accounts a great guy.

Art was a great guy. Overlapped with him at school. Just a gentle giant. Wonderful soul. World lost a really good person. Just sucks.

Ugh. He probably could’ve been a high pick if he’d declared after the ND game. It was heart breaking when he tore his pectoral in the off season before Marrone’s first year, it clearly cost him in dropping down in the draft. That he'd decided to return was just another reason to root for him. Dude oozed orange, if you disliked Art, you really had something wrong with you that you should seek professional help
