At UNLV

Folks, if you’re already having trouble containing your excitement for this trip, you should prolly just scroll on by.

TexanMark set me up with a private tour of Allegiant, our club, and our seats. Let me tell you… it’s all glorious.
Quick disclaimer- I’m horrible at taking pictures, and the pictures don’t do any of this justice.

Disclaimer #2- due to Allegiant events going on, I was only able to get a tour of the UNLV side of the stadium. Everything I show you here, will be exactly the same to the SU side of the stadium, minus some different branding and sponsorship signs.

First off, view from the seats.

I’m standing in row 21. Mark can confirm, but I believe we have the majority of this section. I’m a guy that likes to sit up high at football games, but thought this was a fantastic viewing point. The seats that SU will be offering will be closer to the end zone.

Now for the good stuff. Welcome to the Modelo Cantina Club (sponsorship subject to change). This is a private area open to the folks in our section. Multiple bars, a Pizza Rock (pretty solid pizza) a chicken finger spot, normal stadium concessions and some grab and go options. Place looked pretty solid.

For anyone interested in a private suite, they vary in size. There’s an even fancier, all inclusive one upstairs- 16 people, around $5k. The ones in the photos are much cheaper, and have access to the same club we’re in .

The overpass that you’ll walk on from the casino leads right to the parking lot, which is a stones throw from the stadium.

Thanks! This is enticing and I may be about to scrounge up some families in SoCal who prefer the finer things in life.

I wish I had asked the price of the premium suites. Some had room for 8, some had room for 16. If I had to guess I'd say you could get those for around $200 a person, which after seeing them, seems like a deal. Same access to the bars and food that we have.

Guy Fawkes

There is another fan group who wants to go topshelf too. If you want to link up I can put you in touch with him and the premium rep. This group looking is in their 30s and 40s I think and is like 4-6 in size

Also remember our lounge will be different than this one but similar in set up and amenities.

Ok I zoomed in and what is going on with the staff in this photo lol - why are they all laying down?

I did a few double takes (a quadruple take?) when I first looked down towards the field. Mark is correct, workers napping during a lunch break. Setting up for an upcoming concert. Before I left, someone went around kicking each one, and they got right up and back to work.

Looks pretty central to a lot of the fun parts of the strip. Less than 2 miles to the stadium too. Haven’t stayed there before but being one of their vacation club properties it should be pretty solid.
It’s nice

Good to know I have a convention there first week of March. Can’t go crazy comping but I want something good. Where would you go for one of their halls?
The horseshoe is connected. It’s the former Ballysand has remodeled rooms. I understand when people are booked at Paris now it’s actually some of the rooms in tower that used to be Ballys. Planet Hollywood would be just south of Paris.

Orange fans...my work is complete. I can't grow my group any bigger as we can't comfortably support over 175-200.

I have a small waiting list of folks looking for better seats. As this is a destination event I think we won't have as many cancelations to fill midsummer and September.

If any of you want to build a small group of 20 fans...I can set you up with the Premium Tix Rep. I can also pass on my waiting list folks for you to contact. I expect more seating will come available soon as their season ticket push ends. This includes seating close to midfield.

I expect SU will have tickets available around 139-140 area. Expect they'll charge around $50-70 depending on what they get.

For those who just want to save money on hotel, vegas is a great spot to book on Hotwire. It doesn’t tell you the name of the hotel before you book but spending 5 mins on the site, you will easily be able to figure it out. I used to use it a ton for weekend stays in vegas and was never disappointed. Just a thought

Oh man are you in for a treat. You'll discover how many adults amongst us struggle with the kindergarten concept of lining up according to number. It's awe-inspiring.

Mark you are the best! And this will be a tailgate to remember!

RE: About Accommodations/Pricing.

I would recommend staying on the lower strip and maybe doing a Wed arrive to Tuesday leave trip.

Almost all of the hotels on the lower strip near the stadium are owned by MGM/Bonvoy now is part of rewards. You get to the middle they are more Caesars, and then it gets to some one-twosies peeps, but tend to be a bit pricier and more elite etc. It tends to be where some of the 'Food Network Icons' have their restaurants.

I managed to get a great deal, and in tandem since my brother is coming and if you have time I would book this strategy for the trip (From Syracuse Area.) I booked the Luxor About ($1k from Wed Arrive, Tue Leave). I used EXPEDIA, and I just have to pay the tax there, and it was FULLY refundable (taxes included in the $1k). Trust me I had to do it 2-3 times just to fix it for the flights I eventually get to balance the pricing out. And you can still get the deal at the Luxor. I don't know about you but I don't plan to sit in my room past 12PM PST (Just to reduce some work time PTO off) and not get back until 10PM either.

For the flights I used Jet Blue Wed In, United Out Tuesday ~$260 bucks total for the flights. The deals still exist with other airlines (American you can book prob a round ticket too right now for the same periods...)
