So yeah Malachi is REALLY fast. And you were too.

Because I read too fast and gave Malachi the 9.93 - here is what I did:
Fourth in the country. Whoa. Christian Smith has the best HS time in the country so far. His 9.93 100m is the fastest 100m ever run by an American in the U20 class. That time is the fastest run in the world so far this year. So Malachi is in pretty good company.
I took Smith's time as Malachi's, MY BAD Cbus. 10.28 ain't shabby though.

I will just note that Carl Lewis went to Willingboro HS in NJ.

Carl was a great long jumper in HS but nothing special running the 100m and 200m. I believe his PR was 10.67 the year he graduated from HS.

He got a lot faster once he went to college.
