I'm in Pennsy but it's similar here. Many years ago fastest guy on my HS team ran a 10.7 and got second in states to guy that ran a 10.4. Both ended up on scholarship to Michigan State and Villanova respectively. Standard tackling angles don't on those types. My son in law had a best of 11.2 which was good enough to make the NYS Class B state finals. So your#s seem about right.
His fastest non wind aided was 10.88. That's how fast MJs 10.5 is.Jawar Jordan?
Enjoy your imput! Thanks10.9-11.0 guys will win a majority of HS meets in the North. Tenths below that are exponentially harder to drop. 10.4-10.5 is usually state champ and, as you'd alluded, "Southern" fast.
Not sure where this gentleman projects but he should be returning kicks if nothing else which I love the idea of return specialists.
Yeah his speed is really impressive. In some of his clips, granted the comp is questionable, he's jogging at the 15 heading into the endzone.Just for comparison, Zay Flowers ran a 4.42 (Ravens). Another guy with elite speed (that we struggled to cover), Tutu Atwell, ran a 4.39 ... at 5-9 155 lbs. MJ is faster than both. Wherever he shows up on the field, RB, slot, WR, etc., he's going to be a matchup problem.
And at 5-11 195 he is solid and can hit people who get in front of him.Just for comparison, Zay Flowers ran a 4.42 (Ravens). Doesn’t seem to be that way. Per the SI article he was offered and committed at the end of December before Mews got his Houston offer. But maybe we already new Mews wasn’t coming.Presume this late add is because Mekhi Mews chose Houston BUT ceiling could be Tavon Austin type
That is fantastic. I love it!
Here is his commitment video...its certainly something. Production value off the charts! Love it
The Malachi Crunch! Maybe we'll get a glimpse of Pinky Tuscadero, too!Let the pigeons loose !
You are really testing the depth of 70s tv knowledge with that joke. I love it!Especially Demolition Derby
There’s an old saying that I first heard from the legendary Princeton basketball coach Pete Carril - “All I know is fast players get where they want to go faster than slow players”. It’s just that simple.
This is really cool!

Why can’t I have had friends willing to do this stuff for me?That is fantastic. I love it!
Brown is the new fastHCFB is bringing in and recruiting more speed like not to many fans here had ever seen before.
