I think Coach Campanile has already started to impact Syracuse football recruiting.
It’s hard to know who gets credit here.
Monroe offered and opened relationship.
Nunzio closed the deal.

Considering most everyone else turned over I think Dino gets the most credit. They committed to his program.

Precisely. Also you can hate on Dino for questionable in game calls, but can never doubt his program and the support they provide for kids. It’s nice that the program offered both kids given their family situation.

21' 5 1/4" in the Long Jump. Sounds fairly impressive. NYS record for 2022 was 23' 9 1/2"

Could be. Speculation on my part.

Syracuse gained traction recruiting shortly after Coach Monroe was assigned that recruiting territory.

But his success was primarily in South Jersey.

Coach Campanile is from Northern NJ and I think that is where most of his contacts are.

The twins are of course from Northern NJ. Believe we got a long snapper from there recently as well. He was a transfer.

It will be interesting to see how things develop for Syracuse recruiting NJ in the future. So far, I think things are looking promising.

Not a lot of buzz on these stalwart twins. Usually we get a recruit and there’s three pages on him before you can blink. They look very athletic and lightly recruited. Not much on recruiting services as far as I can tell. Like the Northern NJ angle.

Lets keep the east coast kids coming. Love a team built with NY NJ PA kids

He reminds me a little bit of David Walker as an RB. Not going to out run a lot of players but makes great choices and has a great feel there.

I expect him to end up playing defense for us. Maybe one of the safety positions but more likely at LB. He has some Mikel in him, which is a really good thing.

Dino’s last RB to defense convert is now the captain of our defense alongside fello Mobbb member Caleb O

Not a bad get these twins!

Not fond of 6’ LBs but love some David Walkers.

I'm OK with 6' LBs who are probably 16 or 17 years old, who will not be at SU as True FR until 1-1/2 years from now. Could most likely still grow another inch or 2.

I also remember some guys named:
1. Zaire Frankin (SU / Indy Colts) near All-Pro level LB playing at 6'
2. Mikel Jones (All ACC LB) playing at 6'1''.
