If MD is smart they should hire Rhule...but I bet you are right Schiano seems about right for them. I think we need pay up and go HC first this time if we can get the guy we want - we are in the ACC time to start acting the part. OC & DCs are crapshoots and should be hired by MAC & AAC conferences first before a P5 conference pickup in my opinion.

My top three today are Rhule, Babers & Campbell (and maybe Fleck but he's perfect for Illinois) in that order. Anyone of them works for me but watching BG now for the last couple of weeks Babers offense is perfect for the Dome.

I don't think the BG QB is as good as Dungey can be with a working offense, right now.

Play broke down that slow QB tries to run and goes 1 yd. With Eric that's 40 yds they are so spread out.

Dungey is pretty accurate on the long ball too. Perfect for this kind of offense.

Every northeast school is stuck in the 50's. Saw a post on this board imploring that we go back to Schwartzwalder style football. And another saying we had to go back to what P and D did because it worked in the 90's. Just unbelievable that people don't want exciting offense.
 
Much more intrigued by Babers then Fleck. Still like Campbell but would like someone who's older that won't have that many more big time chances like Campbell and Fleck are going to have. The thing that is funny to me is that a lot of coaches from the MAC that have moved up haven't had great success. The best one to date? Probably the most boring of them all. Jerry Kill lol

Definitely not, because we're going to beat BC 6-2 and that buys Shafer another season. ;)
