I have a suggestion for relief pitcher effectiveness. When they come into a game the number of men on base should be weighted on the basis of the number of outs at that point. Allowing them to score or not score would be the number factor in the analysis. Also in yesterday's game against the Cardinals Whitely should have been given the W as the major contributor as a pitcher A guy comes in and gets luck with his introduction when his team scores should benefit with that win.Ther are enough anomalies in the game that should be looked at with new ideas including fielding although the official scorer is a factor there which is enough of a subjective input in some cases.Home team vs opposition. is just one of them.
