Basketball Board versus Football Board

Don't think I've ever been on the football board. Visited the lax board a few times, but it's really not that good.

Football was great. We had a great run. Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, Floyd Little... then a 100 year gap to beating Nebraska, then the glorious run from'86-'87 to McNabb, then dormant for good.

Let it go.

PS I still own a Cherry Bowl t-shirt. I got it at Mr. Tops.

Our fight song is about football. Our great songs were written because of our football program. Our athletic tradition as a university is rooted in football. The Carrier Dome was built because of football. I fell in love with Syracuse because of football.

The football program has been down, but the program will be back as it has rebounded before.
