Well... it's on the table.I don't see the corralation. What's stopping her from having it at her house and you simply not being there?

Maui last year was an amazing experience... despite horrendously long flights in each direction --- and despite breaking my nose there. (But that's another story, and I am sure you won't trip over a "Caution - Wet Floor" sign and break your nose before the tourney even starts).
Nassau is so much closer... with so much less expensive in air fare. If you've ever thought about attending one of these tourneys, this one is a no-brainer.
Toronto Cuse said:Confirmed. Flights from Canada were surprisingly cheap. Hotel rooms, not so much. Me, my fiancee, my Dad, and my mom will be there to sit in the wave pool lazy river and watch some hoops. It will be my second time staying at the resort, but first time attending the Battle4Atlantis. Last time I was there was during All-Star weekend and I lounged poolside and talked to Hasheem Thabeet, in town because he was obviously not an all-star. Hasheem was buying drinks and what appeared to be escorts for 18 of his closest friends. This is obviously speculation and I have no evidence whatsoever and have no clue what happened after they all left the pool but that was the buzz among hotel guests sitting by the pool for a couple of days. I spoke to a reservations manager at the resort and they confirmed that you can purchase tickets to Syracuse games only. She did say you will have to stay at the resort to get tickets for individual teams. I have been in the ballroom and to be honest I can't imagine it as a 4000 seat venue. Ceilings are low so I would imagine it could get loud if they sold out. Should be a neat experience.
I would love to arrange a golf game for anyone interested? I will try and coordinate with sutomcat closer to November for some help organizing?
I'm booked for the Riu next door. All inclusive package Tuesday thru Saturday. Now I'm just praying I can get tickets. It was just too expensive for me at Atlantis. I'll spend 1/3 the price and get twice as much at Riu. Just hoping I can get tickets thru SU. Hopefully some info will be released soon from the University.
Are tickets for the game available yet? I haven't been able to find them online.
I would not think until the late spring/early summer. I'll try to find out.

Would you mind posting some details? I was looking at the Riu as well possibly. I'd like to add any information to my initial post that I can.
Anything that might be helpful such as price (if you don't mind sharing), type of room, any deals you got, etc.
Thanks for the heads-up. These flights will fill up quickly. Especially the return flights on Saturday. (Just booked mine).Just a heads up...for people like me who will only fly Jet Blue...Flights are now available through Jan 1, 2016.
Yeah... I was shocked that there was such a huge difference in price between the weekday flights sdown... and the weekend flights back. The Sat and Sun flight prices are pretty brutal
I think I might stay until Monday.
this means that whatever travel packages SU will put together will Not include flights, correct?Yeah... I was shocked that there was such a huge difference in price between the weekday flights sdown... and the weekend flights back.
But Jet Blue is the original master of time and day pricing.
