BC Game Thread...

The defense needs to take volunteers from the stands. They couldn't do any worse. No tackling today.

This was a 4-5 year rebuild. He can win 4 next year and be safe. Then the seat gets warm.

Shafer destroyed what Doug was building.

If we go 4-8 the seat gets hot obviously. Year 3 is key to turn it around and Dino should do it.

We got caught believing our own hype. Dino said it himself. Need to be less talk more walk

Which was why after the first year I realized it was a dumb choice to hire him but then took lots of crap from people who said his recruiting was trending up and we would be better after 4-5 year rebuild

Slightly disagree. I don't think Marrone was building anything. His recruiting wasn't good. Did he recruit anyone that even got drafted. Let alone drafted high. Doug is a very good coach as far as coaching guys up. But he didn't build anything.
 
Nice insight that Syracuse should try to get into their tempo and play a little faster (with 39 seconds left in the half)

He did suck. I questioned his hire but was willing to give him time. That time got shorter and shorter as year 1 went by.

They have. And it's hard for them to play right now with essentially nothing to play for. But the effort needs to be present, and it isn't.
 
The right hash is a tough kick for right footed kickers we shouldn’t ever attempt a kick on the right hash ever again.

lol He did win 7 games and a bowl game his first year. That is looking like the glory days right about now. No question Dino is better than Shafer. After all, he has won 4 games a year instead of 3
