BC game time?

Is this like a standard ACC week before announcement of the game time? You'd think with it being a holiday, there'd be more notice. Hoping for a 12:30

I'd be cool with a 12:30, as long as I can get my wife and old man up and running by 7 (what time do people get to the Fine lot for 12:30 games?). Plus it will get me back to Penn Yan in time for a good Saturday night with the gang.

12 day window is the norm for every game now (every so often we'll only get 6 days notice). So, we'll know the BC gametime on Monday, November 18th.

For college football, the non conference games defer to the home team's channel(s) correct? CBS is going to have some tough decisions to make. These will be their options:

FSU @ Florida (Florida is terrible, but FSU at the Swamp trying to get one step closer to national title?)

Clemson @ South Carolina. Both Top 10 right now.

aTm @ Mizzou. Both in the Top 11 right now.

Alabama @ Auburn. The marquee game. Wonder if CBS will do a 3:30 and 8 pm game, with Iron Bowl getting 8 pm obviously.

Biggest reason I bring that up is that I wonder how it impacts the ACC's scheduled time slots for that day. If FSU and Clemson are off that menu, it could impact our start time. I would still put my $ on 12:30, but we won't know until next Monday. Hopefully they don't pull that 6 day window thing they did for the SU-Clemson game. Especially on such a heavy traveling weekend.

cbs has only 1 window on 11/30 they have a game on black Friday that was already selected LSU/Arkansas


Clemson/south Carolina will be in primetime same with texas a+m /Missouri(with Alabama/auburn on cbs)


fsu/florida will be on espn family at noon or primetime.



as for ACC tv windows likely on 11/30: abc 8 (Georgia @ Georgia Tech is likely)
espn/abc/espn 2 mirror game at 330
espn u at noon or 330
acc network at 1230
acc rsn game at 1230 or 330


in my preliminary look at games for that weekend I only have 2 acc controlled tv games set and they are Georgia @ Georgia Tech as abc night game and Maryland @ NC State as the acc rsn game.

so 3 games are TBD in my eyes: Boston College @ Syracuse
Duke @ North Carolina
Virginia Tech @ Virginia

with 2 on espn family and 1 as acc network game

id put 60% odds on 1230 ,30 % on 330 and 10% on noon

The BC game will be weather dependent. Normally we have the setup crew there by 0830...but if it is really cold or heavy rains...expect a shorter tailgate...with something like a 0915-0930 setup. We should know more about 4-5 days out.
