I’m not pooping on the guy, but we have a very personable coach, get good transfers (AET in year 1) and it’s still a grind.

To be fair, we were told he would be. (Lol).
I do remember some people on here who weren't happy about the offense he was going to put in saying it wouldn't work well in college.

I think it’s not good if they match us w an equally personable coach. When they have hired well they have won at a good clip.

What advantages does BC have that we haven’t historically? Don’t the two programs matchup pretty well? I see them as true peers.

Plus, the Dazzler was seen by some as personable and as a guy players/parents liked.

Addazio beat this same Syracuse team 58-27 last year and BC could have scored 100 in that game. They gained 700 yards total and 500 on the ground. It was very sad to watch how easily BC dominated. They sat on ball in last 30 minutes. They did not throw a pass in the 2nd half when Addazio called off the dogs against his old school.

Hafley is a better coach than Addazio and their recruiting is better in 2021. Plus they got big time transfers at QB (ND), WR (Ohio State) and safety (MD)..All 4 star out of HS.. Bring back most of their starters in 2020 and always have the great O Line. That top O Line never changes. I expect BC to be very much improved under Hafley and that is bad news as even Daz reached bowl games in 6 of 7 years.

This is a very tough football conference. Unless you constantly improve you will be left behind quickly. Recruiting dries up fast. Finishing 2-8 or 3-7 this season would be a disaster IMO. Need 5 wins. Minimum. 5-5 would be OK.

Two, right off the top of my head--the City of Boston, and the Catholic connection. They've historically done well recruiting the parochial schools in N. New Jersey and the Cincinnati area.
