BC is NOT firing Jim Christian

That choice seems like good, long term management. An AD that is able to really look at things and decide that what it fails to contribute to success is part of the problem. Good for BC.

I didn't realize UMass had made it once - they've been pretty much irrelevant since Cal left

I'm shocked that you didn't realize how much better off the ACC would be if they chose UMass as its next member. :rolleyes:

UMass is a mess. They insisted on going to 1A football when other Massachusetts football schools (BU, Northeastern) shut their programs down completely.
