you mean avoidable? with that i agreeThe worst part about George’s turnovers are the fact that 90 percent is completely unavoidable. He plays with weak IQ.
All the coaches on the staff are worse than Red.Straughn
Sorry, my bad. My white hot rage about this loss has made me not able to read straight. Infuriating. I very much agree with you.Wait, I said I would not get Melo's input on any coaching decision?
Kiyan doesn’t get a pass. He’s been awful. No help at all. The freshman excuse thing doesn’t hold in today’s world anymore. Sadiq sucked too today.George may be the physically weakest player we have ever seen - Kiyan can get a pass because hie is a first year
BC at home (SU) in OT was when our drop started after 25 and 0 in February, 2014.Isnt this the second time Red lost to BC? Lost to them with Judah right? Gross
cuz boeheim always had so many answers in the post presser ?Man that press conference was just as bad as the game
I think when your base offense is 4 out iso, the guys have a lot of pressure to make individual plays. If the off-ball guys stand around (which seems to be what happens most of the time) it's very easy for the defense to defend with help.I feel like if I put myself in their shoes they do that when they are overthinking and unsure of the game plan.
His minutes should be cut.Kiyan played like hot garbage.
In the Big East JB consistently won close games and overtime games.donnie also had 7 turnovers vs BC!
hes been doing it all ACC as well...just all that scoring masked it somewhat (even though i noticed it too)
overall
reds offense is EXTREMELY easy to defend - opponents know exactly what these guys are trying to do every time down the floor
last 10 minutes of games SU goes ISO mode and just takes turns going 1 on 1 - a holdover of JB strategy
but if the driver is bottled up they have no outlet and opponents know what is going and cover the passing lanes...it leads to a lot of bad shots and a lot of turnovers - youre seeing it more in ACC play bc these guys already have red very well scouted
Exactly! We should have a 6.5 man rotation. Betsey and .5 Souare. That’s what JB would do. Too much time on the bench today for Donnie, Kyle and Kingz.
I can buy that reducing his assist totals, but his turnovers are often comically bad.He is a system PG playing in an ISO offense without any identity or movement.
I think he’s being asked to do something he’s not used to, creating or being a playmaker. I think in general he can be a good passer if he knows where the ball is supposed to go. Too often he has to decide how to drive the offense.I can buy that reducing his assist totals, but his turnovers are often comically bad.
JB had 40 something trys to win the title with the same program . did it once.
Yeah, I figured that. We're doomed. All the coaches on the staff are worse than Red.
Yep and maybe a little over that.Pardon me?
and?In the Big East JB consistently won close games and overtime games.
i wouldn't say JB was fired. he was politely asked to please move on. a couple times.and?
doesnt make everything he did perfect. theres a reason he was fired.
im talking about 1 aspect of what he did that red has copied - iso heavy offense late in games. i dont like it
17 turnovers
