Go back and look again. We made the NCAA 25 or 30 times in a row. That's not a 5 or 6 year period of being good.

We've had an amazing run under JAB, but your statement is just not true. Under 45 years of JAB, SU has made the NCAA tourney 35 times and did not make the NCAAT 10 times (7 NIT, 2 probation and 1 Covid). The longest run of consecutive NCAAT appearances was 10 years ('83 to '92). The. Ext longest was 5 years.
From 1976 to 2013, we usually missed the dance every 4th or 5th season, other than the 10 year stretch I mentioned. Since 2013, we've only had consecutive tourney appearances once (2017-18 & 2018-19), with interruptions from probation, the NIT and Covid.
7 of the years we missed the NCAAT were in the last 25 years.
